How can you “Sock It to Drugs?”

First: How much Red can you wear? Tag Day – Remember the red socks to “sock it” to drugs.  Student online voting for the “best of show” – wearing the most red beginning on Friday. (Watch for email/News post with a link for voting.)

Second:  Make a themed poster to “Sock It to Drugs.”
Prizes for top 3.
Due at school –  Wednesday 10/26

Third:  Back by popular demand… Make a Red Hat to wear.
Entries must follow rules below. Students will vote online for their favorite beginning on Friday. (Watch for email/News post with a link for voting.)
Red Hat Contest Rules:

  • Must be RED
  • May use another cap/hat as the base
  • Must have anti-drug theme
  • Must be in good Christian taste
  • Parents may give guidance, but should be the students’ work
  • Wear all day unless a teacher requests you to remove during class
  • Should not interfere with the learning environment
  • Final decision with regard to appropriateness rests with the principal

Fourth:  Red desserts during lunch (by SALT).
PreK-3 – bring 25¢ to buy your treat.
4-8 grades – bring 50¢ to $1.00 for treats.
