Christmas Program – Dec. 20

December 13th, 2012

Our Christmas program for this school year is entitled, “Christmas Jubilee!” It will involve the entire school, as well as the school’s musical ensembles. Our students have been working very hard over the past couple of weeks in order to memorize lines and learn songs. The program will be on Thursday, 12/20. We will be running through the program that morning at 8:15 as a “dress rehearsal,” but you and your family are more than welcome to attend if you are unable to make the program later that evening at 6:30. Students will be expected to arrive no later than 6:00 p.m. on the night of the program. Our PALS officers have graciously volunteered to serve refreshments following the Christmas program on Thursday evening. The dress code for the program is church attire. Please make sure that your students wear a nice shirt or blouse, a nice dress or skirt of appropriate length, and nice pants (NO JEANS), as well as a nice pair of shoes; our dress code uniform is an example of nice clothing. If you have any questions regarding the program or the dress code, please contact me at pwalter@clutheran.org.

Also, our students have been invited to sing the main number from our program, “Jubilee,” at Christ Lutheran Church’s Christmas Eve service. The service begins at 7:00 p.m., and students should arrive no later than 6:30 p.m. This service is not mandatory if you and your family attend a different church, however this is a great opportunity for our students to share their gifts and abilities with members of the church and to share what our ministry is all about! Please email me if your child is able to attend the Christmas Eve service so that I am able to have an idea as to how many students will be there.
I wish you all a Merry Christmas and God’s blessings in the coming year!
In Christ, Paul Walter
