Dress Code Updates for K-8

July 1st, 2013

Two important updates are highlighted in our dress code at Dress-Code-1314 PDF. One is the expansion of color options for socks, tights and leggings and the other update is with shirts.
The survey response to logo polo shirts was overwhelmingly positive to go for wearing logo polo shirts for students. We understand your family may have existing polo shirts, and we recognize this is a transition process.
In order to help your family transition more easily with the new logo polo shirts, the following schedule will be implemented:

  • Mondays: solid color (K-6)/striped (7-8) no logo polo shirt (old dress code) OR any CLS logo polo shirt (new or old polo)
  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays: CLS logo polo shirt (new or old polo)
  • Fridays: CLS spirit t-shirt OR CLS logo polo shirt (new or old polo)

*When 8th grade has their class shirt, they may wear it each Thursday
New logo polo shirts
will be purchased through The Toggery. They have the best price in town with convenience as well! The Toggery is located in the Pleasant Ridge Town Center at 11525 Cantrell Road #405. Youth sizes are $16 and adult sizes are $19. The shirts are embroidered royal blue, white and cornsilk options and will convey to the community the quality we offer here at CLS.
