Junior High students embark on a scientific journey utilizing skill building hands-on experiments, digital lessons, projects/activities and their interactive science workbooks (Science Fusion by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt). Emphasis is placed on developing independent thinking skills and participating in group projects/experiments.

  • Motion, Forces and Energy
  • Space Science
  • Cells and Heredity
  • Earth’s Water and Atmosphere
  • Matter and Energy
  • Ecology and the Environment

All junior high students participate in the CLS Science Fair, where they conduct original research and present their findings to a panel of professional researchers. The winners are eligible to represent CLS at the Pulaski County Science Fair.
