Band instruction at Christ Lutheran begins in the fourth grade, and is offered to all students ranging from fourth through eighth grade.
Symphonic Band is offered to students in fourth and fifth grade. In this ensemble we begin to learn the basics of band music as well as begin to work through exercises and music that help us learn the proper techniques involved with our instruments. Performance opportunities include church services, school programs, as well as any outside of school performances that may arise.
Concert Band is offered to students from sixth through eighth grade. This ensemble works to continually develop our students’ technique and skill on their instruments, as well as to expose them to a variety of music in order to prepare them for the next level of band. Performance opportunities include church services, school programs, as well as any outside of school performances that may arise.
